Korean pet food company MISO entered the industry in 2002, establishing Korea's first pet food research institute and pioneering the development of wet pet food. In October 2019, it launched its first overseas production base in Qingdao, China (Qingdao Meixiao). Specializing in pet food, snacks, and supplies, the facility features GMP-standard clean workshops, holds export certifications and production licenses, and has obtained ISO 22000 and HACCP food safety certifications. Its products are exported to South Korea and other countries, with pet snacks becoming available in the Chinese domestic market since late 2022.
