Miconazole nitrate is a broad-spectrum antifungal agent. Its mechanism of action is to inhibit the synthesis of fungal cell membrane and affect its metabolic process. Miconazole nitrate has antibacterial effects on dermatophytes, Candida and some Gram-positive cocci.
